Paid almost $40 for pizzas. They were so greasy and nasty. Never had problems there before. Try to give me a $10 gift certificate for this junk. I’ll never go back again. They don’t want to work with anyone and I’m not paying twice for crap I wouldn’t give a dog. 😡😡🤮🤕

I have to say this is a hard review to write but here goes. I have been going here since high school in the 70’s. Long since moved away but always eat here when I come back once a year. Loved it! Super happy they reopened and we came a year ago and they nailed it pizza was like always and great friendly service and the place was hopping. We came back to town and had the usual pizza and an appetizer today. I was really sad. The pizza crust was not crispy and no cracker meal, sauce not the same and very strong garlic. Overall very different taste maybe some will like it but it has changed. Also, the server was not happy or friendly like in the past. The dogs playing cards picture was still there though! Place was the quietest I have ever seen. Writing this in hopes that Gabatoni’s goes back to what I believe made them great.

I got the EBA personal pizza. It was delicious. (Everything but anchovies). Im not really picky about whether a pizza is thin crust, medium crust or full but gabatonis is thin and I thought it was delicious. Mainly, its because the toppings were delicious. That being said, if you are a thick crust "guy", this place may not be for you. The ambiance is that of a 70's bar/restaurant from goodfellas, the movie...lol. dirty drop down ceilings, the lord's prayer on the walland a full bar on the other side of the partition wall. The staff was very nice and pleasant and the clientele was everyone over 65. Again, its not a place for fine dining, but the pizza was great and it deserves great credit for that.

Gabatoni's came recommended by the hotel I was staying at. The location looks older and I almost went right past the entrance. The inside looks like its an old Italian place out of the 80s. Not the obligatory pics of Frank Sinatra, rather the low drop ceiling, laid back atmosphere, and of course white table cloths. I went at 7:45pm (they close at 9, last order at 8:45). My server greeted me within about 2-3 minutes and was very friendly. I wasn't sure what I wanted to order so he went back to the other 2 tables, a party of 11 and a family of 4. It took about 10-15 minutes to get the server back over to my table. Again, very friendly, just not quick. I ordered a pizza and he said it won't be long as I am the only order in the building. The pizza took around 20 minutes. It came out looking and smelling great! The crust, similar to Chicago tavern style, just not very crisp. Maybe the ovens were turned off early and the deck cooled? I had my pizza for about 10 minutes and the server came over telling me he'd box up the rest and I could eat out of the box and take whatever I wanted home. I didn't argue, but it did feel like I was being rushed out. It was 8:30. Overall, I highly recommen

Wow just wow. We are from out of town and stopped there for some pizza and let me tell you we ordered a lot of food and everything we got was so delicious!!! I tried to find something wrong and couldn't.
